Guide For tourists of Neelum Valley

About 200 kilometers long the picturesque Neelum Valley is situated to the North & North East of Muzaffarabad. Running parallel to the Kaghan Valley . It is separated from if only snow-covered peaks, some over 4000 meters above sea level. Excellent scenic beauty, panoramic view, towering hills on both sides of the noisy Neelum river, lush green forests, enchanting streams and attractive surroundings make the valley a dream come true. The area is ideal for trekking. A fair weather road opens the valley to tourists upto Kel, 155 kilometers from Muzaffarabad, of which about 150 kilometers has been black topped while the remaining portion is being matalled. Buses ply daily on this rout and accommodation facilities are also available in the rest houses of places of tourist attraction. Neelum Valley is a 200 km long bow-shaped thick forested region in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is named after the Neelam river, which flows through the length of the valley. The valley is situated in the north-east of Muzaffarabad, running parallel to Kaghan Valley. The two valleys are only separated by snow-covered peaks, some over 4,000 meters (13,000 ft) above sea level. Skardu Valley

Skardu is the main town and capital of Baltistan which is situated in the background of Karakoram Mountains range. The journey from Islamabad to Skardu by air is full of enthusiasm as it provides a breath-taking view of the high mountains. The Kaghan Valley is an alpine-climate valley in Mansehra District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan. The valley is a popular tourist destination for Pakistanis, and smaller numbers of foreigners. The valley has largely rebuilt after the devastating 2005 Kashmir earthquake. The valley extends 155 kilometers (96 mi), rising from an elevation of 2,134 feet (650 m) to its highest point, the Babusar Pass, at 13,690 feet (4,170 m).

Gilgit Valley is also considered as one of the finest valley of Pakistan. It is located at an elevation of 1454 meters. Gilgit is not only known for its beauty but also for a number of historic places that are worth-visiting. Some of the attractions in Gilgit Valley include: Budha Sculpture engraved out of stone Taj Mughal (30 KMs from Gilgit town) Sher Qilla Naltar Valley( at a three hours drive from Giligit link road where you enjoy services of rest-house and various private hotels, alpine forest and a Ski slope) For those tourists who like to play and watch Polo, Giligit is the best place to visit. A Polo tournament is held in Gilgit valley every year in the month of November. Like other Northern valleys of Pakistan, Giligit valley is also perfect of trout fishing, trekking, hiking and mountaineering.

Mount Rakaposhi,Gilgit Hunza Valley

Rakaposhi is a mountain in the Karakoram mountain range in Pakistan.It is situated in the Nagar Valley Nagar District approximately 100 km north of the capital city Gilgit of the Gilgit–Baltistan province of Pakistan. Rakaposhi means "Snow Covered" in the local language. Rakaposhi is also known as Dumani ("Mother of Mist"). It is ranked 27th highest in the world and 12th highest in Pakistan, but it is more popular for its beauty than its rank might suggest. Rakaposhi has an uninterrupted vertical rise of approximately 6000 m (19,685 feet) , making it the tallest mountain on Earth when measured from the base to peak.
